Abstract

One of the common obstacles to the implementation of construction projects is the occurrence of delays. In the case of the construction project for Pratama Banti Hospital in Mimika Regency, there was a deviation of 11.97% in the 7th week, with the project completion estimated to be delayed. This study employs the Crash Program method, aiming to expedite the construction project timeline in order to maintain the initial project duration as planned. The implementation of the crash program was carried out through three alternatives: adding working hours (overtime), increasing the workforce, and a combination of both alternatives simultaneously. The research conducted on the structural work of Building A in the construction project for Pratama Banti Hospital resulted in the optimal cost derived from the alternative of increasing the workforce, which had a 0% increase in cost and the best time performance using the crash program method, achieving a 23.8% crash duration to maintain the initial project completion timeline. This was achieved by applying the alternative of increasing the workforce in the construction project for Pratama Banti Hospital in the Tembaga Pura District of Mimika Regency
