The knowledge and motivation of TB patients will have an impact on their adherence in carrying out treatment programs. The better a person's knowledge, the more obedient s/he will be in carrying out quality treatment and the higher a person's motivation, the higher a person's antuasias will be to achieve recovery. Types of research is cross-sectional. The population in this study was patients with tubeculosis in the work area of the Matani Health Center with a total sample of 177. The measuring instruments used are in the form of questionnaires, interview guides and TB.01 forms. Data analysis using univariate and bivariate analysis with chi-square test. The independent variables are knowledge and motivation and the dependent variable is adherence to taking anti-tuberculosis drugs. The results showed that knowledge and adherence of taking drugs was showing a correlation with (p value = 0.000), motivation and adherence of taking drugs showed a correlation (p value = 0.000), which are less than significant value a = 0.05. It can be concluded that H1 was received, H2 was rejected. The nurses need to conduct health education about TB and provide motivation to TB patients using a therapeutic approach.
