Abstrak

Five Moment Hand Hygiene atau 5 Moment Cuci Tangan merupakan langkah efektif dalam memutu rantai infeksi silang, yang dapat signifikan mengurangi kejadian infeksi nosokomial. Penerapan Five Moment Hand Hygiene terhadap pencegahan dan pengendalian infeksi sangatlah penting. Oleh karena itu, dalam pemberian tindakan keperawatan harus memperhatikan pelaksanaan cuci tangan yang baik dan benar serta perlu dilakukan dengan kesadaran dari perawat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan pengetahuan perawat tentang kebersihan tangan dengan kepatuhan penerapan five moment di RSU GMIM Kalooran Amurang yang dilakukan pada bulan juni – juli 2025. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain deskriptif korelasi dan pengambilan data menggunakan teknik non probability sampling  dengan margin of eror 0,05. Hasil penelitian menunjukan terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara pengetahuan dan kepatuhan cuci tangan dengan hasil uji chi square diperoleh hasil ρ=0,005 < 0.05, yang berarti Ha diterima H0 ditolak. Hasil penelitian selanjutnya menunjukkan terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara pengetahuan dengan kepatuhan cuci tangan. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan pengetahuan perawat tentang kebersihan tangan dengan kepatuhan penerapan five moment di RSU GMIM Kalooran Amurang.
