ABSTRACT- LANDSLIDES IN INDONESIA OCCURRED 572 TIMES IN 2020, KILLING 370 PEOPLE, 39 MISSING, AND 520 INJURED. THE MAIN FACTOR IN PREPAREDNESS IS THE LEVEL OF KNOWLEDGE. THE AIM OF THIS RESEARCH IS TO ANALYZE COMMUNITY KNOWLEDGE REGARDING PREPAREDNESS FOR FACING LANDSLIDES IN MAUMBI VILLAGE, ERIS DISTRICT. RESEARCH THIS IS DESCRIPTIVE RESEARCH, DATA COLLECTION USES OBSERVATION, INTERVIEWS AND LITERATURE STUDY METHODS. THE DATA OBTAINED WERE ANALYZED QUANTITATIVELY USING STATIC PRODUCT MOMENT ANALYSIS. THIS RESEARCH DESIGN USED A CROSS SECTIONAL APPROACH, NAMELY THE TIME PRESSURE OF MEASURING OR OBSERVING INDEPENDENT AND DEPENDENT VARIABLE DATA ONLY ONCE AT A TIME. BASED ON THE RESULTS OF THE SPEARMAN CORRELATION TEST IN THE TABLE, THE CORRELATION COEFFICIENT (R) WAS OBTAINED. OF 0.405 WITH A SIGNIFICANCE VALUE (SIG. 2-TAILED) OF 0.000. THIS VALUE MEETS THE REQUIREMENTS FOR RESEARCH SIGNIFICANCE, NAMELY P 0.05, THERE IS A RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN COMMUNITY KNOWLEDGE AND PREPAREDNESS FOR FACING LANDSLIDES IN MAUMBI VILLAGE, ERIS SUBDISTRICT.

DATA YANG DIPEROLEH DIANALISIS SECARA KUANTITATIF MENGGUNAKAN ANALISIS STATIC PRODUCT MOMENT, DESAIN PENELITIAN INI MENGGUNAKAN PENDEKATAN CROSS SECTIONAL YAITU MENEKANKAN WAKTU PENGUKURAN ATAU OBSERVASI DATA VARIABEL INDEPENDEN DAN DEPENDEN HANYA SATU KALI PADA SATU SAAT BERDASARKAN HASIL UJI KORELASI SPEARMAN PADA TABEL, DIPEROLEH KOEFISIEN KORELASI (R) SEBESAR 0,405 DENGAN NILAI SIGNIFIKANSI (SIG. 2-TAILED) 0,000. NILAI INI MEMENUHI SYARAT SIGNIFIKANSI PENELITIAN, YAITU P 0,05ADA HUBUNGAN PENGETAHUAN MASYARAKAT DENGAN KESIAPSIAGAAN MENGHADAPI BENCANA LONGSOR DI DESA MAUMBI KECAMATAN ERIS.
