Kekurangan gizi pada balita dapat menimbulkan beberapa efek negatif seperti lambatnya pertumbuhan badan, rawan terhadap penyakit, menurunnya tingkat kecerdasan, dan terganggunya mental anak.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis hubungan pola asuh orang tua dengan status gizi balita di Puskesmas Enagotali Kabupaten Paniai Provinsi Papua.Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah desain deskriptif analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional study. Populasi data keseluruhan balita dengan ibu yang melakukan kunjungan di Puskesmas Enarotali Kabupaten Paniai Provinsi Papuaberjumlah 35 responden. Pengambilan sampel dengan menggunakan teknik purposif total samplingmengunakan alat ukur kuesioner dan dianalisa dengan mengunakan ujichi-square. Hasil dalam penelitian ini diperoleh hubungan yang signifikan antara pola asuh orang tua dengan status gizi balita dengan nilai p-value = 0.000< α = 0.05. Kesimpulan: Dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada hubungan yang signifikan antara pola asuh orang tua dengan status gizi balitadi Puskesmas Enagotali Kabupaten Paniai Provinsi Papua.
