Abstrak

Rabies adalah penyakit virus zoonosis yang dapat dicegah dengan menyerang sistem saraf pusat. Dalam 99% kasus Rabies pada manusia, anjing menjadi penyebab penularan virus. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi hubungan pengetahuan dan sikap  dengan pencegahan erhadap penyakit Rabies di Desa Rarange Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Mangaran terhadap Pencegahan Penyakit Rabies.. Metode: Jenis penelitian yaitu analitik korelasi menggunakan pendekatan cross-sectional menggunakan kusesioner. Populasi berjumlah 70 responden dengan sampel berjumlah 70 responden. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan total sampling. Varibel independent dalam penelitian ini yaitu pengetahuan dan sikap Masyarakat terhadap penyakit rabies. Data dari hasil penelitian ini di uji secara univariat dan bivariat dengan menggunakan uji spearmenrho. Hasil: menunjukan hasil uji statistik Spearmen Rho dapat diketahui bahwa hasil korelasi  p-value <sebesar 0,00 dengan α = 0,05, maka dapat dikatakan p-value< α (0,05), sehingga secara statistik  ada hubungan yang signifikan antara pengetahuan dan sikap dengan pencegahan penyakit rabies. Correlation Coefficient (r hitung) sebesar 0,48 menunjukan korelasi yang sedang antara 3 variabel ini.
