Rabies is a zoonotic viral disease that can be prevented by attacking the central nervous system. in 99% of cases of rabies in humans, dogs are the cause of transmission of the virus.. Methods: The type of research is correlation analysis using a cross-sectional approach using a questionnaire. The population was 70 respondents with a sample of 70 respondents. The sampling technique uses total sampling. The independent variables in this research are community knowledge and attitudes towards rabies. Data from the results of this study were tested univariately and bivariately using the Spearmenrho test. Results: The results of bivariate analysis with the Spearman-Rho Test on SPSS show that the correlation result is p-value <0.00 with α = 0.05, so it can be said that p-value < α (0.05), so that statistically there is a significant relationship between knowledge and attitudes towards preventing rabies. Correlation Coefficient (r calculated) of 0.48 shows a moderate correlation between these 3 variables.. Discussion: The conclusion of this research is that there is no relationship between knowledge and attitudes with the prevention of rabies in the Rarange community in the work area of the Mangaran health center.
