Good sleep quality is very beneficial for the health of the elderly, but it is often a significant problem in old age. This disorder affects the quality and quantity of insufficient sleep. Common sleep problems in the elderly include difficulty sleeping and persistent sleep disturbances. The research conducted aims to determine the influence of elderly gymnastics on the quality of sleep of the elderly at the Tumimperas Elderly School, Pinaras Village. The research was carried out using quantitative methods. The research design is a Quasi Experiment with a pre-post test and control group design. The sampling technique in this study is the purposive sampling technique. The sample in this study is divided into 32 respondents into 16 intervention groups and 16 control groups. This research was conducted for 3 weeks with a frequency of 2 times a week and a duration of 15 minutes per meeting. The instrument in this study is a sleep quality questionnaire. In line with research conducted by researchers on the elderly at the Pinaras Village Elderly School with a sample of 32 respondents with data collection using a sleep quality questionnaire. The statistical test used was the Wilcoxon test in the intervention group showing Asymp values. Sig (2-tailed) of 0.000 < 0.05, which means that there is an effect of elderly exercise on sleep quality. Meanwhile, in the control group, the Wilcoxon Asymp test results. Sig (2-tailed) of 1.000 < 0.05, which means that there is no effect of elderly gymnastics on sleep quality. From these results, it can be concluded that there is a significant influence of elderly gymnastics on the quality of sleep of the elderly at the Tumepiras School for the Elderly, Pinaras Village.Downloads
