Author Guidelines
Submission, Initial Assessment and Peer Review
Abdimas Sariputra has a fully web-based system for submission and review of manuscripts. Submissions must be prepared in accordance with the Author Guidelines and uploaded to https://ejournal.unsrittomohon.ac.id/index.php/abdimasunsrit/user/register. Manuscripts may be returned to the authors without peer review if they do not meet all submission requirements, are incorrectly formatted, or cannot be downloaded reliably.
Submissions must represent original and independent work by the authors. Each new submission is reviewed by one or more editors to determine whether it falls within the general remit of Abdimas Sariputra. We will reject manuscripts without review if they contain inappropriate content; do not have a clear application to education; are primarily concerned with the development and advancement of methodologies rather than the application of those methods to education; have substantive problems with design, methodology, or data quality; are beyond our word limit or are incorrectly formatted; are poorly presented and unclear.
Manuscripts that pass initial review are assigned to an expert on our Associate Editor team to oversee the review process. All papers are subject to peer review and authors can expect a decision, or an explanation for the delay, within one month of receipt. If revisions are invited, the corresponding author should submit a revised manuscript within 2 weeks. The final decision is made by one of the senior editors based on information obtained through the peer review process.
Decision types: Reject, Resubmit, Revise, Accept
Reject
After peer review, the paper is deemed unacceptable for publication in Abdimas Sariputra and cannot be resubmitted.
Resubmit
The version of the paper submitted is unacceptable and requires major revision but there is clear potential in the work and Abdimas Sariputra is prepared to consider a new version. Authors are offered the opportunity to resubmit their paper as a new submission. Concerns will remain regarding the suitability of the paper for publication until the editor is satisfied by the authors that their paper meets the scope and standards of Education: Abdimas Sariputra. Resubmitted manuscripts will be returned to the original associate editor if possible.
Revision
This paper requires amendments before a final decision can be made. Authors are asked to modify their manuscript based on the comments received from the referees and editor, and submit a new version for consideration within 2 weeks of receiving the decision letter. A point-by-point explanation of how the comments were addressed should be included in the revised version of the paper. Revisions may undergo further peer review and the paper may undergo more than one round of revision. If the authors do not revise the paper to the editor's satisfaction, the paper may still be rejected for publication in Abdimas Sariputra.
Final Acceptance
The paper may be accepted for publication, subject to the conditions that must be met in producing the final version of the manuscript. This may include sub-editing changes and minor changes to ensure that the paper fully meets our criteria. After a final check in the editorial office, acceptance is confirmed and the paper is forwarded to the publisher for publication.
