HUBUNGAN PENGETAHUAN IBU DENGAN PEMBERIANASI EKSKLUSIF DI WILAYAH KERJAPUSKESMAS KAWANGKOAN

ASI merupakan makanan terbaik buat bayi. asupan ASI yang kurang mengakibatkan kebutuhan gizi bayi menjadi tidak seimbang. ketidakseimbangan pemenuhan gizi pada bayi akan berdampak buruk pada kualitas sumber daya manusia yang dapat dilihat dari terhambatnya tumbuh kembang bayi secara optimal pemberian asi pada bayi merupakan cara terbaik meningkatkan kualitas sumber daya manusia sejak dini. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui hubungan pengetahuan ibu dengan pemberian asi eksklusif di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Kawangkoan. Metode penelitian kuantitatif ini menggunakan pendekatan cross-sectional. sampel dalam penelitian ini semua ibu yang mempunyai bayi usia 6-12 bulan yang berjumlah 71 orang. menggunakan teknik sampling secara total sampling. Teknik analisa data menggunakan univariat dan bivariat menggunakan uji statistik spearman rho. Hasil penelitian terdapat hubungan yang signifikan (p=0.001) pengetahuan ibu dan pemberian asi eksklusif di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Kawangkoan dengan koefisien korelasi cukup kuat dan arah hubungan variabel yaitu negative (-0.507). Kesimpulan terdapat hubungan bermakna antara pengetahuan ibu dengan pemberian asi eksklusif di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Kawangkoan.
